Choquequirao Trekking

Choquequirao Trekking

Choquequirao Trek. This four-day trek to Choquequirao offers an unforgettable adventure. The archaeological complex, of which only about 10% has been excavated to date, is often called the sister of Machu Picchu. The Choquequirao archaeological site is three times larger than its "sister." Another difference is that the Choquequirao archaeological site can only be reached through a multi-day trek. Few tourists undertake this effort—an effort that is well worth it. During the trek, there is a magnificent view of the sacred mountain of Salkantay.
