A day in the Corire District with private transport.
We depart at approximately 7:00 am in our 4x4 vehicle, traveling 3 hours from Arequipa to the District of Corire, where Toro Muerto is located. This site features 5,000 engraved stones dating from 700 to 800 AD, created by the Wari culture. The stones are found in a desert landscape and display diverse symbolism.
We then continue to the Majes Valley, known for its rice cultivation and vineyards. We will enjoy a Pisco and wine tasting. Lunch, featuring shrimp from the Majes River, will follow.
Return to the city of Arequipa at approximately 6:00 pm.
